Our in-house design team will listen to your needs and wants, work with you to meet your goals and help you prioritize your vision - or ‘pull it all together.’ We’re inspired by classic, timeless design, understand the requirements of modern living; and we integrate those ideals with our client's vision so that your home will be a reflection of your family, your taste, your needs and wants, and your lifestyle.
Our approach.
We like to keep it simple. We believe that good design, communication, organization and collaboration drives successful projects. We work on behalf of our clients’ to bring the greatest overall value to their build by prioritizing the design plan and and ensuring quality construction services and standards are met throughout the course of the project. Together with their team, Mike and Laura are involved in every aspect of their projects from concept to completion.
Design-build.
We take care of your renovation or new build from start to finish. After our initial design-intake meetings, our in-house design team will present you with drawings, take care of sourcing, make selections; and include furniture layouts and furnishings. Once you have signed off on the design plans and project budget, we will begin the construction management phase, including order management, scheduling, managing tradespeople, project accounting, and coordinating finish installations of each and every detail of your custom home.
Our process.
As a design-build company, we value-engineer your build at project onset. Tell us how much you want to invest in your project, and we will work to prioritize your budget in terms of architectural and interior design, material selections and construction installation methods to meet your investment goals. Experience has shown us the design-build method more accurately accounts project costing and allows for shorter timelines in the pre-construction phase, giving you greater peace of mind that your project will be completed on time and on budget.

Meet Mike and Laura
Construction Manager Mike is a Journeyman Carpenter by trade with over 25 years of construction and project management experience. He partners with our select group of craftsmen and tradespeople to ensure your project stays on track.
Laura is the Lead Designer of LTH and works with clients’ to create the design plans, and to ensure the integrity and detail of those plans are upheld during all aspects of construction.
Originally from a small town on the prairies, Mike and Laura have lived in Calgary together for 22 years. They have two children, Will 9 and Emily 7, and a new puppy, Bodhi, and are passionate about creating beautiful, functional and family-friendly homes for their clients to enjoy for years to come.
